Heated Pool in Marrakech: Why Bali Pool Opens to Women and Kids Until May

There's a pool in Marrakech that kids aren't allowed to see all summer long. Not a splash, not a toe, not even a hastily inflated armband. Then, one morning in mid-September, the rule flips. Bali Pool at La Secret Beach, the quietest pool on the estate, becomes its only heated pool and opens its steps to the whole family.

From September 15 to May 31, you can bring your children into a pool that was adults-only until then. Same calm, same soft music, same intimate feel. The one difference: heated water, right when other pools in town start to feel a little too cold. Here's why that seasonal switch changes your whole day.

In June, July and August, Bali Pool has one clear job: giving guests aged 18 and over a retreat from the summer-holiday buzz. While the main pool hums with families, this more intimate pool stays quiet. It's a summer promise, and it's kept without exception.

But autumn in Marrakech changes everything. Days stay lovely, mornings get cooler, and a heated pool becomes far more than a treat. Instead of keeping that warm water for adults only, the estate made another choice. To share it.

Bali Pool is built on a human scale: eight metres by four, designed to feel like your own. Around it, thirty loungers and one bed for two create a space where you never hunt for a spot for long. Capacity is deliberately capped at 32 guests.

The music stays softer than anywhere else on the estate, even with kids around. You step in without holding your breath, and you stay in without counting the minutes. And when your children refuse to get out, you'll quickly see the heating is no minor detail.

The estate stays 100% women-only, staff included: no man comes in, neither as a guest nor as staff. Little boys are welcome up to age 7, with ID. That rule is exactly what lets mums truly relax, even in a swimsuit by the water.

Budget-wise, it's simple: Bali Pool access is 300 dirhams per person, children included, and babies under 2 get in free. If your little ones would rather paddle, the paddling pool is right nearby, with its own beds and no music. Each family can shape its day around everyone's age.

The estate welcomes you every day from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, plenty of time for several swims without ever rushing. The buffet is served from 2 to 4 pm: 100 dirhams per adult and 70 dirhams per child aged 2 to 11. The kids head back into the water well fed, and so do you.

If you want a real moment to yourself, massages are available on site while the family enjoys the pool. And if you'd rather not drive, private transport can pick you up at your hotel, from 50 to 90 euros return depending on the area. Only one question left: when to come?

This opening has an end date: May 31. From June 1, Bali Pool goes back to guests aged 18 and over for the whole summer. Autumn weeks, school holidays and spring are the perfect time to share it with your kids.
